Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHIND DI CHADAR\u201d is a one-hour multi-media sight & sound panorama artistically depicting the life and preaching of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. After a brief chronological introduction of first eight Gurus, we culminate when Guru Harkrishan ji serving and nursing the masses in Delhi during the devastating epidemic became victim himself. Before his last breath he uttered next Guru (Baba) at Bakale.
Makhan Shah Lubana, who comes looking for Guru at Bakala to pay homage and give 500 mohrs he had pledged to save his ship from drowning. After a tirelessly searching eventually finds the right Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur ji by proclaiming \u201cGuru Ladho Re\u201d.
Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, extensively preached self-reliance to masses by helping them clean the village ponds, which were the only source of drinking water in that period. He dug numerous wells all over to facilitate rural folks of clean drinking water.
During his eastern journey with family, he visited all holy places as well as the places visited by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. During this journey Guru Gobind Singh ji was born at Patna. In Assam he was instrumental for the peace treaty between Assam king Chakradhvaj Singh and Mughal forces lead by Raja Ram Singh. Gurdwara at Dhubri, Assam corroborates the incident.
Aurangzeb\u2019s atrocities and brutality against Hindus was at its peak, when a group of Kashmiri brahmins came to him for salvation. When Guru ji told Pandit Kirpa Ram that some great and noble person has to sacrifice for the cause, young Gobind sitting beside him said, \u201cfather who can be more noble than you to sacrifice\u201d. Satisfied by young Gobind\u2019s observation, he told Pandit Kirpa Ram that go and tell Aurangzeb that if he can convert the ninth Guru of the Sikh\u2019s to Islam then the entire Hindu community of India will convert.
Aurangzeb tried every possible way may it be through greed or threat, but nothing could alter Guru ji\u2019s stance for religious freedom. Three alternates were given to Guru ji, to show Karamat (a miracle) or accept Islam otherwise death by beheading. Guru Ji chose the third. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji laid down his life for the freedom of worship, for protecting faith of helpless destitute on November 11, 1675 A.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
